The Way to a Man's Heart- Better Than Almost Anything Cake

This one isn't really so much the way to a man's heart, though I suppose it COULD be...it just happens to be MY favorite cake to have for my birthday, which is coming up in a couple of days. It's rich, decadent and absolutely scrumptious.

Ingredients-
1 package German Chocolate Cake mix
Water, oil and eggs as called for on the cake mix package directions
1 can (14 oz) Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 jar (17 oz) Caramel, Butterscotch or Fudge topping (I prefer Caramel)
1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 bag (8 oz) toffee chips or bits (Heath candy bar bits)

Directions-

1. Preheat oven to 350ยบ

2. Bake cake as directed on package for a 13X9-inch pan

3. Cool for 15 minutes

4. Poke top of warm cake every ½ inch with handle of wooden spoon, wiping handle occasionally to reduce sticking

5. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top of cake

6. Let stand until milk has been absorbed into cake

7. Drizzle with caramel topping

8. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours or until chilled

9. Spread whipped topping over top of cake

10. Sprinkle with toffee chips

11. Cover and refrigerate any remaining cake
